SG-1 had gated to a planet that once had things growing on it, not so long ago. Now, however, the green grass of the fields they walked through was brown and the plants they saw were wilting.
"Um, guys, wasn't the sky blue when we got here?"
The rest of SG-1 also looked up, which was by now a very dark grey due to the low clouds that hung there.
"The gods bring us rain!"
"For crying out loud, we're not gods!" Jack protested but the native they had been heading towards wouldn't listen for it was now raining.
